At the campground there are 4 stone pillars with a chandelier hanging from pyramid bars. She’s hoping to grow the flowers up the bars. It’s going to look beautiful, but it looks pretty cool already.
After a few days of rain (not surprised at all. It is New England), this guy popped up. I kept waiting for the hookah smoking caterpillar but he was nowhere to be seen.
Finally captured a photo of one of the hundreds of zippy dragonflies. I’m glad he hovered long enough for me to shoot him but not long enough to be eaten by a fish.
In the middle of the lake, to guide you over the old dam, are 2 Channel signs. How a spider made it all the way here, I don’t know. But it looks neat and is not what I expected to see.
A rogue duck feather made for a nice simple pic.
The bullfrogs in the cove have been taunting us every time we go down there to find them. Finally, I found this guy hiding under some leaves. He must’ve thought his camo was working because he didn’t move at all.
This is an atypical house you find on Manchaug Pond. It just looks like a fun house to be in.
I’ll let the captions be my words for this post. Hope you all enjoy.
